Katy Cummings is a music photographer whose journey began to unfold in 2015 with her first UK tour with a band called The Hunna. This marked the start of her music photography career, as she then went on to tour across the UK, Europe, the US, Japan, and Australia, working with bands such as Two Door Cinema Club, You Me at Six, The 1975, Circawaves, and Twin Atlantic. At the time Katy also held the position of Creative Director & Photographer for The Hunna, a role she continued to do even during her last tour across Australia while expecting her son, born in 2018.
Following the birth of her son, Katy made a deliberate decision to shift her focus from extensive touring to a more diversified range of projects. Since 2018, she has directed her creative energy towards shooting standalone shows, press shots and album artwork.
She has worked on various campaigns, including projects with Office Shoes and Doc Martens. Worked with the West End show Moulin Rouge in London and has collaborated with the anonymous artist known as ‘The Postman’ on a Billie Eilish piece of art in Brighton.
She has had work featured in numerous publications such as Elle UK, Kerrang, NME etc. and recently starred in a CBBC episode teaching children about music photography alongside Ricky Wilson.
