The Abbey Road Music Photography Awards celebrates, showcases and supports the global community of music photographers and the images that create and shape culture, connect music fans to the artists they love, and define music iconography for generations to come. This year we've returned for our third edition, delivering the next chapter of a long-term vision for supporting, showcasing & enabling the best in music photography, firmly establishing us as the foremost competition in music photography.

At the heart of the MPAs lies our desire to create opportunities for photographers to be seen and heard. This is at the front and centre of what we do and has seen us expand with initiatives including:
• Skills Hub: online platform offering essential advice, tips and knowledge from our judges, alumni and network
• Skills Hub Live: a dedicated, free one-day festival offering advice and insights to aspiring photographers with panellists including Rankin, Ashley Verse, Vicky Grout, Dean Chalkley and more, with 100 in the room and over 1,200 watching the live stream. Pictured below.
• Exhibition: Outernet - showcasing the 2023 shortlisted entries to over 1.5 million visitors. B:Music- teaming up with B:Music / Birmingham Symphony Hall for a month-long activation (13 May - 14 June) that includes masterclasses, panel talks and photography opportunities
• MPA Lates: quarterly networking nights held at Abbey Road Studios to support and empower emerging talent with portfolio reviews, panel talks & networking
