RxAxLxF is a multimedia artist based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and Nairobi, Kenya. He moved to Nairobi to set up a multimedia school for impoverished slum youth.
From forensic photography of human rights violations, to documenting (sub)cultures, to sports photography, to music photography, to visual experiments, RxAxLxF's scope of work is wide.
His work has been published all over the globe. His clients include UN agencies, NGO's like Amnesty International and many more. Some of his Human Rights documentary work is used in high profile court cases against former Presidents.
His ongoing documentary project 'Blackest of Metal' about the Kenyan Metal & Punk scene was nominated for the Music Photography Awards 2024.
Next to Metal & Punk, RxAxLxF puts his focus particular on underground and non-celeb scenes. From DIY ghetto soundsystems to old African folk singers experimenting with techno music and way beyond all those, RxAxLxF's interest are wide and adventurous.
