Riccardo Piccirillo

Napoli, Italy

Riccardo Piccirillo played the guitar for almost twenty years and is a passionate vinyl records collector. Half way through his life, he discovered his passion for photography.
Labelled as a “rock photographer”, he has mainly portrayed musicians, both during their live performances and in his private studio, sometimes opting for different locations chosen on purpose for the occasion.
His pictures were often chosen as covers for records and books and were published on the main Italian and international newspapers. He collaborated with Nikon, acting as moderator for the Nikon club for 6 years. In 2019 he shot his first videoclip, personally curating direction and editing. In the same year he took part in TEDx (Caserta), acting as a public speaker. In 2020 he launched “7 seconds”, the first website ever where photos are destroyed. In 2021 he published his first book “Il silenzio che c’è fuori” (The silence outside), placed as the best-seller Amazon.
