"Music and photography have always been an important part of my life. As a young child, I was inseparable from the radio bought for me by my father, spending all too many evenings and nights tuning into pirate radio stations. It was also my father’s hand-me-down Kodak film camera that introduced me to photography, and I used it primarily to capture memories of the music concerts I attended as a student. The technologies have since evolved, but my passion for music and photography remains with me to this day.

A few years ago I retired from a career in IT project management, deciding to spend more time focusing on my photography. I particularly enjoy the challenges of candid photography, always looking to capture those fleeting moments of emotion, expression or glorious light, rather than simply a record of the scene. Music photography is one of my 'happy places'!"
