A.F. CORTÉS is a New York City-based filmmaker, photographer, and founder of NEUPLOT, a content creation studio. A consummate music lover and four-time Abbey Road Music Photography Awards nominee, he captures intimate shows in small venues and major bands in big arenas, directing music videos and documentaries for artists like ZOLA JESUS, METZ, UNIFORM, QUICKSAND, and BORIS. His passion for music shines through in BROOKLYN IS BURNING, a feature film on NYC’s vibrant music scene. Cortés has earned accolades including (AI-AP) American Photography Awards (2022, 2023) and two merit awards from The One Show & Art Directors Club (2019). His work has been featured in Rolling Stone, The Guardian, Revolver, DIY, and many others.
