Adrien H. Tillmann is a Jazz photographer, cinematographer, TD and audio recording engineer. His work, displayed at iconic venues such as The Village Vanguard and Birdland, earned him a 2024 Abbey Road Music Photography Award. He has photographed prominent jazz artists such as Billy Harper, Tony Bennett, Pharoah Sanders, Ravi Coltrane, Roy Hargrove, etc., with his images appearing in The New York Times, DownBeat, The Wall Street Journal, and more. Tillmann has worked with major record companies, and he has received invitations to photograph at prestigious festivals and institutions, including UNESCO, SFJAZZ, the White House, and the Montreux Jazz Festival. In addition to jazz, he has captured Middle Eastern, Cuban, South African, and South Asian genres. His portraiture has been featured by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art's blog, and he has photographed for MoMA in NYC. As a director, his video work includes a PBS concert broadcast and a performance film for Harvard University.
