Thomas Ranner

Hi! I’m Thomas, concert and event photographer based in Vienna, Austria.
Photographing live shows has been my biggest passion since I was 18 years old. Over the past nine years I had the honour of capturing almost all my favourite artists, and some of the biggest acts in the business. Since 2022 I have been part of the photo teams of Nova Rock Festival and Frequency Festival, the two largest rock and pop festivals in Austria.
Besides photography I am currently pursuing a PhD in theoretical physics. Getting creative at live shows provides the perfect balance to long studying days. For me, nothing compares to capturing the special moments in the beautiful chaos of live shows. In that sense, I’m available to capture any kind of gigs.
