STORIES BEHIND THE SHOT: DANNY CLINCH & SACHA LECCA AT LEICA GALLERY
On Wednesday, we hosted an evening at the Leica Gallery with legendary music photographer and film director Danny Clinch and Rolling Stone Deputy Photo Editor Sacha Lecca. Danny pulled back the curtain on some of his most iconic photographs, discovering the untold stories behind the images that have defined modern music.

ICONS & THE NEXT WAVE: EXHIBITION AT MORRISON HOTEL GALLERY
The Morrison Hotel Gallery presents a week-long exhibition spotlighting the MPA ICON winners from the last two years - Jill Furmanovsky and Henry Diltz, whose timeless images have shaped the visual legacy of music. Last year’s ICON winner, Furmanovsky has chosen a set of her era-defining images of Oasis to celebrate their forthcoming reunion tour. Alongside Jill and Henry, we feature rising talents from the ‘New Guard’, Christaan Felber & Sacha Lecca, whose perspectives are redefining the genre. The exhibition’s theme: Celebrating the Icons That Paved the Way & the Next Wave honours the progression of music photography - from past to future.

LAUNCH PARTY: ABBEY ROAD MPA CELEBRATION AT MORRISON HOTEL GALLERY
The Abbey Road MPA launch party brings together New York’s music photography community for an evening of celebration. Set against the backdrop of the MPA exhibition at Morrison Hotel Gallery, the night will be a tribute to the city's music photography scene, as well as a chance to celebrate the launch of this year’s Awards.
FRIDAY 30 MAY
BEHIND THE SHOT - THE ART AND IMPACT OF ROLLING STONE PHOTOGRAPHY
In collaboration with Rolling Stone, Abbey Road is hosting a deep dive panel discussion at RS’s HQ. Led by Sacha Lecca, Rolling Stone’s Deputy Photo Editor and Abbey Road MPA Global Ambassador, alongside Rolling Stone’s Griffin Lotz, Senior Visuals Editor Joseph Rodriguez and photo director Jennifer Santana, the conversation Behind the Shot - the Art and Impact of Rolling Stone photography will see the panel offer insight into producing images for the iconic music magazine.
Following the discussion will be a series of free portfolio reviews for emerging talent, from a powerhouse lineup of industry leaders: Sacha Lecca, Janette Beckman, Rich Fury and Todd Owyoung.
In addition to these events, we are lighting up Times Square with a billboard, to announce the launch of the 2025 edition. Catch it on Wednesday 28 May and Thursday 29 May every half hour, throughout the day.
