Khali Ackford

Khali is a Bristol-based photographer who started out in the city's grassroots underground club scene and now shoots some of the UK's biggest festivals, including Glastonbury, All Points East and BST Hyde Park. Working across live performance, portraiture, and album artwork, his approach focuses on capturing the atmosphere and energy of artists both onstage and behind the scenes in a natural way.

He has worked with artists and cultural heavyweights, including The Chemical Brothers, Goldie, PinkPantheress, IDLES, Joy Crookes, Rag'n'Bone Man, Arthur Hill, Bonobo, Mala, and Overmono, as well as publications such as NME Magazine and Crack Magazine.
