Ebru Yıldız
Ebru Yıldız is a New York-based portrait photographer originally from Turkey. She has collaborated with and photographed many notable artists. In November 2025 Yıldız released her second photography book - King of All the Land - in collaboration with the artist Mitski and co-published by Skeleton Key Press and What Remains. Her first self-released photo book - We've Come So Far: The Last Days of Death By Audio - chronicled the closing of the beloved Brooklyn DIY music venue. In addition to editorial work for publications including The New Yorker, The New York Times, Rolling Stone, and Pitchfork, Yıldız has produced significant personal projects. She received a grant from the Turkish Cultural Foundation for her long form photo essay on Istanbul’s underground music scene. Her limited-edition zine series Phosphene offers another layer to her practice, focusing on intimate, single-subject photo essays.
