This photograph was taken in May of 2022.

I was a junior in college at UC Santa Cruz and my friends and I were getting ready to throw a rap concert in the forest.

Colby AKA Canal Kn!ght (left) and Maddie AKA Knock Monsterr (right) came over to my apartment to set up a makeshift studio and record new tracks.

The rolling bass notes of new wave rap shook the walls as the likes of Henry David Thoreau, Malcom X, Mark Rothko, Patti Smith, Bosch, and Frank Ocean looked on from the paper studded walls.

At this moment, anything was possible in the studio.
